Join Australia’s leading agribusiness organisations by becoming a member of the Farm Writers’ Association of NSW Inc.
Farm Writers plays an important role in helping to strengthen links and understanding between the rural sector and the wider Australian community. Regular forums provide opportunities to hear about topical issues from leaders in the sector and to network with others interested in agribusiness and rural Australia.
Anyone may join as an Individual Member. There are reduced fees for Rural and Retired Members. Organisations may join as Corporate Members. See our membership fees.
As a member you pay less to attend events, receive advance notice of events and, for Corporate Members, have an opportunity to showcase your company at lunch seminars.
Traditionally, the Association meets over lunch on the last Friday of each month to hear invited speakers or expert panels present and discuss their views on rural issues of current or emerging importance. Guest speakers at seminars are leaders in their field and are chosen for their willingness to offer authoritative, frank and newsworthy commentary and perspectives.
Agribuzz is a lively networking and professional development event held around once a quarter, around Sydney's CBD and once a year in regional NSW. Over drinks and canapes, our members and friends exchange business intelligence and hear brief presentations from young leaders. Those establishing their careers take the rare opportunity of talking to agribusiness’s leaders in a relaxed, casual atmosphere whilst those on the look-out for talent meet young leaders-in–the-making.
Membership subscriptions are for twelve months ending 30 June each year:
